In Elizabethan England (1558-1603) fruits such as blackberries and apples were reserved to be only consumed by the nobility. We have once again overthrown the nobility and are pleased to bring everyone this High Fruit Blackperry Preserve with Apple.
Blackberries, in proper botanical language, are not berries at all, but instead an aggregate fuit of numerous drupelets; meaning that each fleshy lobe in a blackberry is actually an individual fruit, and all lobes are joined at their bases to constitute the appearance of the "berry". This high Fruit Preserve is made with 80% real fruit.
INGREDIENTS: Mixed Fruits (Blackberries, Apples), Cane Sugar, Lemon Juice, Gelling Agent: Fruit Pectin.
*Processed in a plant that also processes wheat flour.
