Order Processing
Tracking Information and Confirmation Emails: To receive tracking emails from World Wide Gourmet Foods, please check your spam filter settings. If tracking information does not automatically arrive into your email inbox, information may be requested by emailing tracking@alaskasmokehouse.com with the order number and in the subject line.
Timing your shipment: Your shipping time will begin the day after processing the order, as UPS does not count the first day as a shipping day. **Please make note of this when planning for any gift arrivals or special occasions that require time sensitive delivery**. UPS delivers packages Monday through Friday, with holidays and weekends being exempt. From November through January, an additional two days shipping time is added to each package by UPS, due to the high volume of shipments.

Shipping Destinations: We ship orders within the 50 United States.
Gift Messages: Any gift notes that you have included with your order are printed by our system onto the UPS sticker and placed on the box for the recipient to see. Character limit, including spaces and punctuation is 150.
Substitution Policy: Due to the popularity of our gift baskets and gift sets, we reserve the right to substitute items within those baskets, of equal or greater value, in the event any of these products are deemed out of stock.
Wine Shipment Policy: Wine gift sets and gift baskets may be packaged with bottles boxed separately from other items to ensure the protection of the bottles during shipment.
Refund for Credit or Exchanges: We have a "satisfaction guaranteed" policy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of your product you may return it for a full refund of the product purchase price. When processing a return, please allow about 1 week for us to process the paperwork. A customer service representative will work out the details with you.
Shipping Charges
Our shipping charges are based on standard UPS rate; which are based on package weight, size, and distance shipped. To preview the shipping charges, enter the items you want to order into your shopping cart. When you're done enter the destination zip code and click on calculate. Directly below will be a list of the different UPS shipping options and the associated charges with them.
UPS Ground, 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping are available to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped to one of the 48 contiguous United States.
Orders to be shipped out of the 48 contiguous United States (i.e. Alaska and Hawaii) are sent by UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS Next Day Air delivery. These orders are not eligible for UPS Ground or 3rd Day Select shipping.
Backorders
Shipping time on backordered items varies. You will be contacted via phone or email if you order a backordered item. At this point you can either choose to wait for the item, or remove it from your order. If you choose to wait, the backordered item will ship out to you automatically just as soon as we get it back in stock.
Payments for backordered items are made up front as part of the original order. This helps to keep shipping costs down, as it would be more expensive to charge for two separate shipments. If you choose to remove the backordered item from your order, a refund will be issued that is consistent with the original method of payment.
